Perfect place for light dinner before a performance.
Such a beautiful view and comfortable venue.
Tried restaurant again for coffee and dessert: coffee was weak and bitter, pecan pie was straight from freezer/fridge; cold, on a plate garnished with bitter chocolate and VINEGAR. Awful! Pound cake this time and creme broulee last time tasted they were straight from freezer.Service is slow and both time "the kitchen lost your order."Would love to stop in each time we have PC tickets-is so convenient, but have not had good food or service. Lovely surroundings, though.
MoreWent after a show. Had table reserved, but wasn't really a need as the place was super dead. Since we were the second table in there, you think we would have been served quickly, but our server instead went to 8 other tables that arrived after us and had brought food out before we even had our drink order taken. ...Yeah, I know it's a pretentious place based on its location, but outrageous prices for small portions and the waitress tried to auto add a 25% gratuity with her ipad....for a party of 3. Three greasy apps, 2 waters and 1 beer: $30.00. No thank you.
MoreWe absolutely love the food and atsmophere at Genevieve’s, but the service is usually far less than expected. On several occasions we have chosen to dine at Genevieve’s before a show and more times than it seems to either be extremely understaffed or the servers are just poor quality. Forgetting to put in orders, having to track down for check, taking extremely long periods of time to bring out orders. It’s such a shame because the food, atmosphere, and convince before a show is supreme!
MoreComfortable atmosphere!
Best theater lounge in town.
Always nice before the Peace Center show
Love the food! The service was great!
Outstanding views of downtown and the Reedy River. Good food and quick service as should be expected for a pre-concert venue.
MoreVisited for first time. Great View, great drinks, great service. Plan to make this a regular place.
MoreFood is subpar at best and service was terrible. The establishment is beautiful, however would never purchase food or cocktails from this restaurant. So many good places to eat in greenville, don't waste your time on this one.
MoreI love this place. Great place to eat before a show. Food is delicious and the service is fantastic.
MoreTasty but pricey.
Impressive menu for such a limited kitchen space. Beautiful views of Greenville from a rare perspective!
MoreHostess is extremely rude - won’t be coming back!!
The view and vibe are really nice! The food was good but not awesome.
Excellent food and drink options. Tapas exclusively. Reserve a table for a Peace Center desert and/or beverage intermission rez, enhances the night.
MoreGreat tapas menu. Had the Maine Lobster Roll, wife had Watermelon Salad & daughter had Gnocchi (vegetarian). All food was EXCELLENT. Service was quick, cocktails were great. Views were fantastic. Intermission from the show kept us away from the crowds. Highly Recommend. Only reason it is not 5 star is price point of cocktails. 3/2018 Visited again for a concert, again food and waitstaff are just awesome!
MoreNot so good.....the Asian Salad in a Cup had dressing with no flavor, the Shrimp Spring Rolls had no shrimp and the Pork Sliders were tasty but served cold. Service was lacking; sharing plates were not provided for at the tapas-style menu. On a positive note, the Pinot Noir was good and the room is very attractive. There are, however, much better options for pre-theater dining.
MoreGood variety and tasty for small menu.
A great place for pre-performance drinks and small dishes. Food was great and ambience was great too. We loved it!
MoreFood is already prepared, just warmed up. Understaffed. Service is slow. Almost missed the show, and that was after waiting 1hr & 15 minutes. Cancelled part of my order so I could get into the three. They need a manager. The bad time is a reflection on the peace center manager.
MoreBland and overrated and overpriced
Great place to eat and trelax. They have really delicious food. A great place to eat before your show.
MoreWent to see book of Mormon and did brunch before the show. most places with skimp on the quality of the food when they have an excellent location, but that was not the case with this place. The location was great, and the food was even better. I highly recommend if you're going to see a play at the Peace center that you definitely have food and drinks as Genevieve's.
MoreExcellent service. Meat tray is a good way to go for a variety of tastes. Sliders were flavorful. Jambalaya fritters were surprisingly bland. Not a place to go if you are dining on a budget. But a definite "Must Try" on any special occasion. I will be revisiting this location anytime i have tickets to a show.
